Our Commitment to You

Wycliffe Associates commits:

To maximize every dollar contributed to Wycliffe Associates for the most accurate and effective Bible translation work possible.

To communicate truthfully and accurately when reporting financial needs and reports of God's work of Bible translation around the world.

To steward transparently by continuing to participate in stringent audits by third-party accountants and to provide current financial statements upon request.

To pray for all those engaged in Bible translation around the world—it is challenging work and the task is daunting.

To support only Bible translations that use accurate and literal common language terms for “Father” and “Son” when referring to God and Jesus Christ.

To diligently promote accurate Bible translation in every Wycliffe Associates project.

At Wycliffe Associates, God’s Word is central to everything we do. Our Core Beliefs are drawn from the teachings of the Holy Bible. In that spirit, we adhere to the following truths:

  1. The divine inspiration and consequent authority of the whole canonical Scriptures.
  2. The doctrine of the Trinity.
  3. The fall of man, his consequent moral depravity, and his need for regeneration.
  4. The atonement through the substitutionary death of Christ.
  5. The doctrine of justification by faith.
  6. The resurrection of the body, in the case of the just and the unjust.
  7. The eternal life of the saved and the eternal punishment of the lost.

We are committed to being good stewards of your financial gifts to Wycliffe Associates and the ministry of Bible translation. Our financial affairs are open to outside review, and complete audited financial statements are available upon request. We pledge to always be fully truthful in our requests for contributions.

Wycliffe Associates retains control and discretion over all funds donated to it, but it seeks to use contributions raised for a particular project in furtherance of the project. If Wycliffe Associates receives more funds than are needed to complete a project or it cannot be completed due to forces beyond our control, Wycliffe Associates will use the funds where most needed to fulfill its mission of accelerating Bible translation.
