Northern Cameroon Translation Training Center
The clock is ticking.
The door is open for only a short time—Why?
Think about it—3 million people who speak over 100 languages in northern Cameroon are facing new threats every day.
While language groups, even entire communities are begging to have the Bible translated into their languages, Wycliffe Associates is working to get the Translation Training Center built in the strategic location of northern Cameroon.
Where is northern Cameroon, and why is it strategic? A training center in northern Cameroon will provide training and resources to local Bible translators and believers in the entire northern region of Cameroon.
The door is wide open . . . for now.
In order for Wycliffe Associates to be able to move quickly, to build facilities, to train local translators, and to help direct translation efforts, funds are urgently needed.
Romans 15:4 says, “For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.”
Currently, radical militant groups build up their forces and threaten villages and communities—people in northern Cameroon.
Wycliffe Associates is ready to bring hope to unbelievers as well as encourage and strengthen the Christian communities by building the Northern Cameroon Translation Training Center with Bible translation training and resources.
First, will you join us in praying for the people in northern Cameroon? Will you pray that Bible translation will begin in not just one but many of the hundred languages in the region?
The time is here. It is urgent that Bible translation begin.
Second, will you give? Wycliffe Associates must raise $175,000 to build the facility and to provide training and resources for the Northern Cameroon Translation Training Center.
