Executive Assistant

The Executive Assistant will provide support for the necessary functions of the Translation Services team, both in the office and abroad. (This will include research for updated travel requirements, communication with the wider team, support for internal monthly reports, scheduling assistance, as well as other administrative tasks.)

Work closely with the VP of Translation Services and Directors to:

-Research passport/visa and medical requirements for travel in the various regions of the world and provide support to traveling team members for securing the needed documents.

-This may include keeping an up-to-date catalogue of requirements for most-traveled regions.

-Collect data from field teams on various research projects, including Scripture usage, storage, and distribution.

-Confirm data from field in the following areas: Completions audit, BIEL audit, Upload %

-Provide support for traveling teams in collection and preparation of training material.

-Manage calendar for the VP of TS

-Provide monthly updates to TS team.

-Keep TS team calendar current.

-Serve directors in onboarding new team members.

-Support orientation for new team members (especially when they travel to Orlando).

-Provide guidance for new team member in completing all necessary paperwork, set-up and orientation steps.

-Serve as local host for team members who travel to the Orlando offices.

-Secure housing either through the apartments or hotels,

-Assist in meal acquisition,

-Support transportation to and from the airport,

-Offer general hosting services while team member is at the offices.

Additional information:

-This is a part-time, salaried position requiring three days a week in the Orlando office.

-This position has potential to grow into a full-time opportunity.

-This position has the potential to offer travel.

-This position will report to the VP of translation services, while serving the needs of the whole director team.

-This position will require flexibility, a commitment to work together as a team, and ability to work well in a cross-cultural context.


-Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

-Bachelors or Associates Degree required.

-3-5 years’ experience helpful as an Office Administrator/Coordinator or Administrative Assistant.

-Computer literate, possessing a working knowledge of administration and data processing programs, as well as a strong knowledge of Microsoft applications.

-Ability to work with minimal supervision.

-Must be able to demonstrate the ability to establish effective, collaborative working. relationships with staff at Wycliffe Associates, and other partner organizations.

-Must have the ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form.

-Familiar with Wycliffe Associates, or other partner organizations.
