Generally:

Wycliffe Associates is a ministry; our mission of Bible translation is a special calling. Wycliffe Associates trains Christians all over the world to become Bible translators and we seek to safeguard the integrity of the Scriptures through that process. While specific skills and experience are a major part of this role, what is most important to Wycliffe Associates, and to the Lord, is a person’s heart. The person who fills this role should have a special calling from the Lord for ministry. In this role you are considered a minister of the gospel. For such a high calling, our lives and values should reflect that pure and holy calling. As we are told in 1 Peter 1:15-16, “But just as He who called you is holy, so you be holy in all you do, for it is written: ‘Be holy, because I am holy.”

 

Position Summary:

Develops, implements, and manages digital staff, strategies, and campaigns to increase revenue, leads, and ministry awareness through multiple digital media channels by performing the following duties:

 

Job Responsibilities:

1. Directs digital marketing strategies. This includes Wycliffe Associates’ public website, social media, ecommerce, email, and mobile marketing.
2. Develops, implements, and manages digital marketing campaigns to increase revenue, leads, and ministry awareness for ministry.
3. Develops and implements strategies to drive online traffic to ministry website.
4. Provides recommendations and oversees the implementation of changes to public website to improve marketing strategies.
5. Work closely with marketing and communications director to set targets and ensure digital marketing campaigns achieve targets.
6. Manages digital marketing staff, which includes providing performance reviews.
7. Identifies new digital marketing opportunities and trends and ensures the ministry is at the forefront of digital marketing developments.
8. Produces regular and timely reports, detailing results of each digital marketing campaigns, interprets data to ensure reporting is meaningful, and makes recommendations to improve results.
9. Manages multiple, simultaneous digital marketing projects in the marketing and communications department that includes creating project plans and schedules.
10. Manages scheduled work and projects with inside and outside vendors.
11. Creates, tracks, and manages estimates and budgets for digital marketing efforts, which includes producing purchase orders and processing invoices for payment.
12. Manages the digital photo/video librarian.
13. Conducts interviews and gathers research for digital marketing efforts as needed.
14. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing and Communications.

 

Professional Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
2. A minimum of four years of experience in similar digital marketing role.
3. A minimum of six years of experience in Social Media, SEO, SEM, web analytics tools, ecommerce, and email marketing.
4. A minimum of five years of project management experience, that includes supervising and coordinating workloads of freelance graphic designers, writers, and editors.
5. Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
6. Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
7. Experience in setting up and optimizing search engine ad campaigns.
8. Must have the skills to develop and execute digital marketing strategies to bring about positive results.
9. Strong organizational and project management skills that demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects at the same time and complete them on time, accurately, and on budget.
10. Must have excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
11. Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite of software, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
12. Must have strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy, and best practices.
13. Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
14. Spiritual Bona Fide Occupational Qualification (BFOQ): Demonstrates desire and ability to support corporate Biblical and religious goals and participate in work related spiritual activities without mental reservation.
